About This Project

Seamless painted floral pattern design in four different backgrounds.

My vision was to create a floral which is transitional between spring and summer. To do this, I incorporated saturated hues, as well as some which are toned down. This created a beautiful balance that allows the pattern to capture the eye, but not overwhelm it.

The flowers were digitally painted with a gouache brush to create a laid-back, yet lively feel, leaving some portions more opaque than others. From there, they were overlapped and re-sized in a way to create interest and depth.

Available for purchase on Spoonflower.
